Nicole and I made it home from Spokane. Nicole has some great thoughts and pictures from the game. I am really glad we went and it was fun to see Arkansas in Washington State. That will probably not happen again. I had no idea that USC had such a good basketball program. You only hear about their football team, but they outplayed Arkansas the entire second half.
The energy of the arena and excitement of the fans was worth the price of the ticket alone.
I was able to get us a room at the Double Tree, which is just a walk through the park to the arena. After the game (we were one of the few to stay for the whole game) we walked back and the USC band and fans were waiting in the lobby for the team to get back. I don't have any idea where Arkansas stayed, but I am sure they did not have anyone greeting them.
We decided to go to the bar across the street. Considering the game we just sat though, this was the perfect way to end the night.
