What made you smile today?
Tonight we had our youth group kick off dinner for the new school year. I have no idea exactly how many teenagers and parents joined us, though someone told me they stopped counting at 130.
Our catered dinner was perfect (almost no food left over!) we played some fun games, went over the new youth group schedule for this year, and collected a big stack of paperwork.
At the end, most of the teenagers and youth group volunteers gathered on the stage for a picture. As I sat there, surrounded by them, I could not help but smile. What a great group, what an amazing job, what an incredibly blessed life.
Just cannot wait for next Sunday night!
